Member of ICS research line: Policy Studies
Karien Dekker works on a research project called 'Neighbourhood Deprivation, Exit, and Voice: Searching for Mechanisms of Decline' funded by the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research (NWO). I regard teaching as a challenging and inherent part of working at a research university. Transferring the interest that I have for the world in all its social aspects onto undergraduate and graduate students is a great way of sharing my curiousity.
